Project Engineer / Manager - Clean Utilities - Pharma - Carlow, Ireland
We are seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer / Manager to join our team in Carlow, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with the development and production of veterinary vaccines at one of the largest centres in the industry worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee multiple projects at Carlow, from scope development to handover to operations.
* Develop project scope, cost estimates, and delivery schedules in collaboration with Site Engineering and system SMEs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Serve as liaison between global engineering services, utilities, and specialist vendors to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
* Evaluate compliance with Global Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines, as well as regulatory requirements, adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in the GMP pharmaceutical industry.
* Demonstrated experience in Utilities within a manufacturing environment, with a successful track record of delivering engineering projects.
* Equipment experience: Plant steam boilers, CTUs, freezers, WFI, Clean steam, compressed air, HVAC, fume hoods, BSCs, F-gas regulations.
* Knowledge of regulatory and code requirements in accordance with Irish, European, and International Codes, Standards, and Practices.
* Strong skills in writing reports, developing standards, and creating policies.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred; ideally in a Science, Engineering or Other Technical discipline.
Salary:
€80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
