Learning and Development Business Partner
Job Description:
The objective of the Learning and Development Business Partner is to support the assigned Covalen business units and clients established or new, by combining business acumen and ability to generate L&D solutions towards clients and organizational objectives.
The Learning and Development Business Partner will actively liaise and establish clear communication standards with their business units and clients as required to provide timely support.
The Learning and Development Business Partner will develop and maintain L&D program, material, learning medium and tools including the Learning management system.
L&D BP are required to own and manage established L&D programs and work on L&D projects and Strategy.
L&D BP drives compliancy of the Covalen Standards across their business units in Training and L&D aligned with our blueprint documentation and auditing process.
L&D BP will champion the learning culture in everything they do across Covalen.
As part of the role, they might have the opportunity to provide consultancy and external training based on Covalen opportunities.
The L&D business partner will champion Covalen’s values in all that they do, be brave, be wise, be proud and exceed, and deliver an excellent service aligned with Covalen company standards.
This role will provide support across Covalen footprint in Ireland, CEE region and beyond based on future needs.
Responsibilities & Duties
1. Identify gaps and opportunity in individual client businesses to support organizational strategy and meet business objectives.
2. Provide consultancy services when required with the support of the L&D Manager for Covalen’s clients.
3. Support clients, business units and departments into developing learning solutions and collaterals aligned with best practices.
4. Create learning material aligned with business needs and L&D strategy.
5. Support L&D new projects and implementation of L&D Solution in new business.
6. Work in collaboration with other support function and various area of the business on relevant projects.
7. Promote L&D services to the business and our clients.
8. Support gathering of information and tender process for potential growth.
9. Keep up to date with development in training methodology.
10. Drive adherence of the learning and development process across L&D Team and Covalen businesses
11. Coach & mentor management / leaders across the organization to support delivery of client business & local strategies.
12. Act as a role model within L&D demonstrating knowledge and business awareness.
13. Develop, document, and maintain L&D process, procedure, and training materials.
14. Develop and deliver blended learning solutions for our business units and clients.
15. Governance of key L&D process, procedures, and business standards of L&D across the organization and our clients.
16. Participating in auditing of key L&D processes, procedures that are in place and being adhered to.
17. Support business units in ensuring best in class standards are maintained.
18. Develop and maintain required reporting on Training, L&D and programs activities aligned with the function requirements and Business units.
19. Conduct detailed training needs analysis at clients/site/business unit level.
20. Implementation & governance of L&D framework.
21. Report on and evaluate success and ROI of training/learning solutions across the business.
Candidate Profile:
·Strong knowledge and understanding of L&D tools and processes as well as an operational awareness of delivery and strong business acumen.
·Good analytic mind and solution driven and has management experience.
·Ability to manage L&D within a business unit, drive implementation of L&D project and solutions as well as represent L&D within the organization and in front of clients.
·Ability to influence and is capable of working with a diverse group of styles.
Required Experience:
22. 2+ years in L&D and/or management experience.
23. Experience of e-learning (platforms, creation and building of material).
24. Experience in leadership and management development.
25. Proven experience in training needs analysis and developing learning solutions.
26. Experience in implementing L&D solutions.
27. Fluent level of the English language – written and spoken.
28. Experience in client relationship management, an advantage.
