Salary scales are subject to LSI's (Long Service Increments) Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days pro rata per annum Overview of the Post: To provide services as part of an interdisciplinary team to meet the identified and emerging needs of children and young people and their families who attend the Children's Disability Network Team(s) with a specific focus on early years. The aim of this programme is to provide a unified national approach to delivering disability health services so that each child has a clear pathway to the services they need, regardless of where they live, what school they attend or the nature of their disability or delay. To work within a family centred model to support families in identifying and implementing outcomes that are important to them and to their children. Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please see Job Description for full list of Duties & Responsibilities The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: Possess a third level qualification in Early Childhood Education/Child Development/RNID/ Pediatric nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Social Work or other relevant discipline And Have a minimum of 5 years post graduate work experience working in the early intervention context with at least 3 of those years directly working with children with disability and complex needs. And Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. And Possess a full clean drivers licence and have access to their own transport. Desirable Criteria: Post graduate in related discipline. Experience of working within the PDS Framework.
