**Job Title:** Service Technician Team Leader
Summary:
This role involves operational responsibility for the Service Technician team and servicing and warranty repairs on cooling towers throughout the region.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate closely with the Service Manager to provide advice and updates on activities, requirements, and opportunities.
2. Assist in managing relationships with customers, including water treatment accounts.
3. Organize the Service Work Schedule and ensure that appropriate personnel, equipment, and materials are present onsite after conducting a pre-inspection.
4. Ensure optimal use of resources within the Service Team to maintain profitability and minimize stand-down time.
5. Record individual Service Team overtime hours and submit them to the Service Manager for approval.
6. Upon request from the Service Manager, survey customers' installations and recommend improvements to enhance performance or bring equipment into compliance with current legislation.
7. Ensure that all site work undertaken is carried out in accordance with the latest Health & Safety guidelines.
8. Participate in inter-departmental training programs as required.
9. Ensure reports are completed accurately and returned to clients in a professional and timely manner.
10. Continuously assess and identify strengths and weaknesses within the service team, ensuring appropriate training and product knowledge is established.
11. Create RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements).
12. Assist in fleet management.
