Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards. Role Profile An opportunity now rises for a full time Event Operations Coordinator to join the Croke Park Meeting & Events team. The successful candidate will work with our Meeting and Events team on non-match days to assist in the running of live events. They will work with the catering team, AV teams and facilities providers to ensure best in class operational delivery. This an exciting role for someone who loves working in a dynamic environment, committed to providing a brilliant customer experience, has a 'can do' attitude, is an excellent problem solver, curious, open minded, innovative and highly organised. Working hours are 5 out of 7 days a week. Please note some early mornings, evenings and weekend shifts may be required. The role may involve working on matches, concerts and corporate events. The Event Coordinator will report directly to the Meeting & Events Department Manager and will have a secondaryreportingrelationshipwiththeHeadof Venue Business. Theroleholderwillberesponsibleforperformingthefollowingtasksto thehigheststandards: Responsibilities: Meet and greeting of client and liaising throughout the day. Checking meeting room set ups. Checking catering set ups and ensure catering is on schedule as per the clients requirements. Assisting with movement of attendees during arrivals, breaks and departures. Communicating any changes to the relevant departments. Managing client deliveries. Meeting with event managers weekly to discuss upcoming events and their logistics. Assisting with the preparation of databases. Assisting with client management. Managing the contracts and planning of charity abseils Creating floorplans, menus and managing client screen conte Essential Criteria: Experience in customer service or working with the public. Minimum educational qualification: Leaving Certificate level. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong aptitude for effective teamwork. Ability to maintain a collaborative, team-focused approach to support departmental goals. Consistently demonstrates a professional, friendly demeanour. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction. High attention to detail. Flexible, creative, and enthusiastic.
