Maintenance Electrician Role
As a Maintenance Electrician at our Cork-based operation in Charleville, you will be responsible for managing the full electrical works and troubleshooting of the site and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading the site's preventative electrical program and managing scheduling.
* Carrying out work orders in a timely and safe manner while maintaining adherence to company procedures.
* Uploading all job details onto a handheld mobile field technology device on completion.
* Testing, inspecting, and certifying your own installations.
* Explaining system procedures to site management.
* Developing in-depth working knowledge of all sites' electrical equipment.
* Completing all work order forms and paperwork in full.
* FOLLOWING ALL HEALTH AND SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS ON SITE.
Requirements:
* A high level of competency in electrical work/electrical engineering with a minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience.
* Experience of machines, process equipment, controls, automation, electrical, and mechanical installations/maintenance is desirable.
* Demonstrating good communication skills, both written and oral, meeting the requirements of the role.
* Good mental ability to logically follow a line of thought for problem-solving.
* Holding a full driving license.
* Able to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
* A flexible approach to working hours, including overtime and on-call shifts.
