We are working with a semi-state body on their search for a Head of Finance to join their team in Dublin.
This role is an integral part of the Senior Management team with responsibility for leading and directing the finance function of the Infrastructure Manager business.
Essential requirements:
6. A professional accounting qualification, with a minimum of 10 years post qualification experience
7. Director level experience in accountancy practice or Head of Finance in a large diverse organisation with construction experience preferred.
8. Demonstrable strong financial and business management skills, including people management, commercial management, and financial control.
9. Experience & knowledge in Accounting (FRS102), reporting internally and externally, governance and regulatory compliance.
10. Strategic decision maker to influence policy decisions at business and company executive levels
11. Experience in project and change management.
12. Experience & Knowledge in SAP ERP, Financial Controlling and Plant Maintenance Systems
Role:
13. Responsible for all aspects of the finance function – reporting, planning & analysis, innovation, opportunity and risk management, process improvements.
14. Lead and direct the finance function.
15. Provide financial advice to the Director and management team.
16. Responsible for the development & implementation of financial strategies that deliver a safe, efficient, affordable network that supports a high performing railway.
17. Responsible for all aspects of the finance function – reporting, planning & analysis, innovation, opportunity and risk management, process improvements.
18. Lead and direct the finance function.
19. Provide financial advice to the Director IM and management team
20. Responsible for the development & implementation of financial strategies that deliver a safe, efficient, affordable network that supports a high performing railway
