NCHD HOSPITAL LIAISON ASSISTANT
Permanent Full Time Post - 35 hours per week
Salary: Commencing at €35,500 gross per annum pro rata
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the full-time permanent role of NCHD Hospital Liaison Assistant based in Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee. The role will primarily include the management and co-ordination of the Medical/Surgical NCHDs in the Hospital. The post-holder will work and deliver on ensuring the Quality & Risk, Health & Safety, Human Resources and Education/Continuous Professional Development requirements both regulatory and non-regulatory of the NCHDs within the Hospital. The post holder will report directly to the Supervising Consultant of the NCHDs.
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements at a minimum:
1. Third Level Management/Business Qualification essential
2. Minimum five years experience in a managerial/business operations role essential
3. Fluency in languages is highly desirable
4. Knowledge and links with international academic and training facilities is highly desirable
5. Strong leadership skills essential
6. Proven ability in the areas of change management, resource management, conflict resolution, quality and safety management, problem solving and operational planning
7. Practical experience of hospital information systems desirable
8. Strong proficiency in IT literacy is essential
9. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
10. Demonstrated ability in providing a quality service provision
