About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Engineer, Pre-Sales Manager to play a crucial role in supporting enterprise and cybersecurity solutions.
Reporting to the Enterprise & Cybersecurity Director, this role involves leading a pre-sales technical team across multiple technologies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling partners to sell, implement, and support key product offerings.
Specific Duties & Tasks Assist the security sales team with technical configurations across enterprise-class cybersecurity vendors.
Act as a technical advisor for partner engagements, supporting pre-sales discussions and solution design.
Serve as the technical liaison between partners and internal teams.
Facilitate the sales lifecycle by providing technical expertise and assisting with deal closure.
Enable partners to understand and effectively communicate vendor solutions to customers.
Provide training and enablement sessions for partners and internal teams.
Support marketing events and participate in industry networking opportunities.
Leverage vendor programs for enablement activities and partner development.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technical strategies with business objectives.
Skills & Expertise 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar pre-sales or technical consulting role.
Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE4+, NSE7, MCP, VCP) are advantageous.
Experience with technologies such as Fortinet, Cisco, Dell, and Sophos is a plus.
Strong understanding of security solution deployment, including firewalls, email security, antivirus, and VPN solutions.
Proficiency in networking concepts, including OSI model, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP, and IPSEC.
Knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies.
Familiarity with NGFW, routing, switching, network security, intrusion detection, and encryption technologies.
Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and spoken.
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
Ability to travel to customer sites, meetings, and industry events as required.
