Job Title: Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and develop projects within the primary site in Killeshandra, driving strategic initiatives and managing capital investments.
* Develop and manage projects at the Killeshandra site, overseeing preparation and management of annual capital budget processes.
* Manage project expenditures versus budget during execution, guiding projects through the capital approval journey to ensure stakeholder support.
* Collaborate with site management teams to identify, develop, and execute projects across operational areas, including R&D, manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, and relevant services.
* Ensure growth and capacity projects deliver improved operational efficiencies and cost reductions through automation, new technology, and operational adjustments.
* Manage resources, including internal staff, suppliers, consultants, contractors, regulators, and grant bodies, to deliver successful project outcomes.
* Encourage employees to represent their departments effectively in various capital projects, providing technical support and advice to Site Operational Management.
* Maintain site project documentation and drawings, staying abreast of new technology, equipment, and processes relevant to the site.
* Pursue continuous learning and development to enhance personal performance, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and relevant legislation.
* Maintain standards and procedures for accreditation and ongoing compliance certification, ensuring data protection and secure processing of personal data.
* Promote knowledge transfer as appropriate, performing additional duties assigned to the role.
Experience Required:
* Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in project management, preferably within the Engineering, Food, or Manufacturing industry.
* Demonstrated experience managing capital projects and budgets, overseeing projects from scoping and specification to installation, commissioning, and handover.
* Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, proficiency in budgeting, cost management, and financial analysis.
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards, excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering functions/providers, suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
