Our client is seeking a VP Powerplant to play a key role in optimising the technical and commercial management of our engine assets.
Reporting to the EVP Powerplant and Production, this role will focus on supporting aircraft transitions, managing engine maintenance programs, and working closely with OEMs, MROs, and airlines. Key Responsibilities:Provide expert powerplant support for aircraft deliveries, redeliveries, and transitionsManage engine shop visits, repairs, and overhauls to ensure cost efficiencySupport lease negotiations, ensuring strong asset protection strategiesDevelop key relationships with OEMs, MROs, and airlines to optimise engine performance and costsMonitor and manage fleet maintenance risk exposureWhat You Bring:5+ years of experience in engine MRO, OEM, leasing, or airline operationsStrong technical and commercial understanding of major engine typesExperience with engine maintenance programs, lease agreements, and regulatory complianceAbility to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environmentDegree in Aeronautical Engineering or FAA/EASA licensed aircraft mechanic qualification (preferred)
