Job Opportunity
We are seeking qualified Master Diagnostic Technicians to join our successful technical team at our state-of-the-art workshops in Swords, Navan Road, and Bray.
Role Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive diagnostic tests to accurately identify vehicle issues.
* Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and technical resources to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and computer-related problems.
* Complete all service, warranty work, and technical reports to manufacturers' and brand standards.
* Perform full examinations of vehicles and identify non-routine defects or additional faults during road tests.
* Carry out service and repair work according to manufacturer and dealership quality standards.
* Achieve laid-down efficiencies and productivity targets.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Contribute to good team spirit and achieve departmental objectives.
* Take care of dealership equipment and tools.
* Evaluate vehicle condition and recommend repairs through video reports to customers.
* Organize daily work schedules and communicate with Service Reception and other support staff.
* Determine vehicle parts requirements and coordinate with the Parts department.
* Ensure quality and first-time fix rates.
* Maintain open communication with customers regarding vehicle condition and necessary repairs.
Requirements:
* Qualification as a master/diagnostic technician.
* Ability to perform tasks in a competent and organized manner.
* Experience working within a franchised dealership.
* Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
* Ability to work independently or collaboratively with others.
* Computer literacy and familiarity with the Company's dealer management system.
* Possession of a full Irish/EU driving license.
* Punctuality and strong work ethic.
* Confidence in mentoring and coaching apprentices and supporting less experienced team members.
