Our client is a leading Irish Civils contractor with ISO9001 accreditation, pioneering in integrated services and support.
They prioritize safety, with certified safety & environmental systems ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct pre-works surveys across multiple locations in Munster.
* Document surveys for distribution to the project team.
* Collaborate with design teams, mark out works, and check levels.
* Manage drawings and CAD files.
* Review utility drawings and liaise with utility companies.
* Brief site teams and monitor ongoing works.
* Participate in weekly or fortnightly online project team meetings.
* Address and resolve design issues on-site.
* Perform comprehensive as-built surveys upon project completion.
* Review project plans and produce a two-week look-ahead programme.
* Communicate programme to ground crews and track progress.
* Order materials, plant, traffic management, and organize additional labor as needed.
* Produce daily allocation sheets detailing project costs.
* Identify potential impacts on the programme and communicate to the Project Manager.
* Manage multiple crews, being the first point of contact on site.
* Read and understand project plans, conduct daily quality & compliance checks.
* Identify design issues and communicate solutions and impacts.
* Ensure all HS forms are filled out and conduct weekly audits for compliance.
* Verify workers' tickets and inductions before work starts.
* Communicate risks and controls, monitor adherence, and update risk assessments.
* Ensure Traffic Management Plans are followed daily.
* Prepare progress reports on safety, quality, and progress.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications in Engineering or related fields.
* Proven experience as a Site Agent in civil engineering or construction, with utility and road corridor experience preferred.
* ROAR and LUGS certifications preferred.
* Basic computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel; Microsoft Project preferred.
Package:
€55-70K per annum, negotiable based on experience
