We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for childcare, strong communication skills, and the ability to create a safe and nurturing environment for young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Create a positive and safe learning environment for each child.
2. Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care.
3. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to foster children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
4. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe childcare environment.
5. Communicate effectively with children, staff, and parents.
6. Be part of a growing team whose main priority is the children in their care.
7. Adhere to the guidelines of Aistear and Síolta.
Requirements:
1. Two years’ experience working with children preferred.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Works on own initiative.
4. Garda Vetting.
5. First Aid Certification (facilitated if required).
6. Manual Handling (facilitated if required).
7. Child Protection training (facilitated if required).
Preferred Qualifications:
1. A minimum QQI Level 5 in childcare / early childhood education; however, Level 6 is preferable.
2. Additional certifications related to childcare or child development.
Job Type: Part-time
