Integration Engineer

What you’ll achieve
As an Integration Engineer you will be part of an agile, object-oriented team environment with version control, change management and continuous improvement protocols.
You will own the architecture of the external integration products to ensure scalability and implementing quality assurance testing standards and processes for the hospital and healthcare environment.
Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.
You will:
1. Taking a leadership role in connecting and advancing our integration capabilities with EHR systems
2. Building seamless integrations with third-parties to link their data to our existing and future products based on standardized formats such as HL7 and FHIR
3. Interact and manage multiple EHR Partners and Clinical Integration customers to problem solve in a real-time basis
4. Write and maintain technical procedures and documentation for the application interfaces developed
5. Collaborating with third parties and internal teams

Essential Requirements
6. Experience in building, running, and deploying systems in a production environment
7. Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or a related field), or equivalent industry experience
8. Experience with developing HL7 interfaces using Interfaceware Iguana, Mirth Connect (or another similar HL7v2-centric interface engine)
9. Experience and firm understanding of RESTful API designs, working with JSON.
10. Skilled in developing scripts that support the transformation of data to and from various messaging definitions
11. Skilled in ETL of large data sets with expertise in data-mapping, validation, and data cleansing techniques
12. Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desirable Requirements
13. Experience working with EHR/EMR healthcare information systems and messaging will be highly considered above other candidates
14. Knowledge of networking protocols
15. Knowledge of healthcare / hospital environments is a plus
