The position of Warmer Homes Technical Engineer will play a key role in delivery of this pivotal programme focused on the alleviation of energy poverty whilst supporting the achievement of Ireland's Climate Action Plan.
As a Technical Engineer on the Warmer Homes Programme, you will develop technical capabilities of the programme in line with prevailing building regulations, policy and evolving technical developments, thereby enhancing the WH Programme offering to citizens.
This position will play a key role on the Warmer Homes Programme.

Essential Requirements The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
A degree (a minimum of NFQ Level 7 or greater) or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant technical discipline such as Engineering, Science, Architecture, or Energy Management/Retrofit.
Minimum 5 years' experience of working in this or a related sector or in a similar role.
Strong project management and organisation skills and knowledge of technical development experience, including change management, scope, risk, and process management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, presenting, public speaking, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable Requirements Knowledge of retrofit technologies, solutions including specific expertise in the design and deployment of retrofit solutions.
Experience ideally in the energy or retrofit sector.
Understanding of project management methodologies.
Good experience of change projects and programme innovation.
Eligibility to Work The SEAI has a legal obligation to ensure that all employees are lawfully entitled to work in Ireland.
To qualify, candidates must hold a valid visa on the date of application and where applicable to support a candidate's application, candidates must submit a valid work permit/visa confirming permission to work in Ireland when requested.
Failure to submit the required evidence, and failure to hold a valid permit/visa during the period of the contract, will result in the application and/or contract of employment being rendered void.
