The Role:
We are seeking a Customer Experience Manager who will lead a team of professionals to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers.
This role reports to the Deputy Manager and involves ensuring that we provide excellent service to Ireland's shoppers every day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create a welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
* Manage change operations, checkout processes, and equipment in-store
* Be responsible for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are not present
* Ensure team members are fully trained and validated in their roles
* Establish an open communication culture, inspiring trust and teamwork
* Coach and manage colleagues to achieve daily priorities and meet customer needs
* Review reports and systems to drive improvements for customers and colleagues
* Drive a zero-food-waste culture, managing date codes, and reducing food waste
* Recruit top talent for our team, focusing on passionate customer advocates
* Understand cleaning specifications and ensure delivery through team leadership
* Manage stock control activities, warehouse layout, and processes for seamless routines
* Identify and resolve pricing issues, overcharges, refunds, and label routines to ensure accurate customer charges
* Optimize front-end operations to minimize customer queues
* Recognize and reward great service, providing feedback for improvement
Requirements:
* Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and colleague satisfaction
* Adaptability and agility in thinking, with a track record of delivering key objectives in fast-paced environments
* Experience as a go-to person for department queries, with shaping and influencing at senior levels
* Previous retail experience in similar roles preferred
