Job Description
As a Deskside Support Engineer, you will be tasked with monitoring and maintaining an organization's computer systems and hardware. You will be responsible for diagnosing any hardware or software faults with the systems and will solve the issues either in person or remotely.
This role covers multiple clients and sites, so a driving license and vehicle are a mandatory requirement.
Role Requirements
1. Good IT working experience in an ITIL environment (at least 3-5 years).
2. Detail-oriented and highly organized.
3. Accredited education in Information Technologies, qualified IT Specialist, or equivalent.
4. Experience in IT support for current Microsoft, Apple, and Android hardware and operating systems.
5. Good knowledge of ticket systems and support processes (Service Now Platform).
IT Technical Skills
1. Device operations and maintenance of Desktop PCs, Notebooks, Smartphones, Monitors IT Support.
2. 2nd Level Office/Mobile Support.
3. Server hands-on, Server Backup, Demo/Meeting/Training Rooms, Video Conferencing, Printer Services.
4. PC Imaging & Installation procedures, Intune/Autopilot/JAMF.
5. Good asset management skills.
6. Good working knowledge of Apple and Microsoft Technology and current Standard Office 365 Suite/Azure AD.
7. Network hands-on, Network Technologies & Administration (AD/DNS/WINS) for WAN/LAN.
