PM Group has an opportunity for an experienced BIM Manager for preparing comprehensive BIM Guidelines, including review and evaluation of BIM Execution Plans for our Global client based in South Dublin.
Responsibilities
1. The Design BIM Team to ensure that 3D design coordination is completed.
2. Efficient hand-over of the Design model to the Construction Team by providing regular detailed design BIM model reviews.
3. Ensuring client’s BIM Guidelines are properly addressed by the project’s Design and Construction Teams.
4. Assist our client in preparing comprehensive BIM Guidelines, including review and evaluation of BIM Execution Plans.
5. Development of the final as-built model to be delivered to the owner.
6. Shape, sell and deliver projects that create tangible value by designing future ways of working – operating models, business functions, processes, and technology.
7. Develop enduring, trust-based relationships with people at all career levels, both professionally and personally, internally, and externally.
8. Provide points of view on key industry challenges and trends and present an impetus for change in industry context.
Qualifications Experience & Skills
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in delivery of complex change projects through the full life cycle (from project initiation to closing).
2. Degree qualification preferred with a relevant professional qualification in change/project management.
3. Experience of successful delivery of complex and ambitious projects from a perspective to time, cost, and quality objectives.
4. Project Management delivery experience.
5. Strong influencing skills to challenge/size business solutions and requirements with senior stakeholders.
6. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to understand a broad range of business and technical challenges, to translate strategy into measurable business benefits and to articulate key messages to senior stakeholders.
7. Experience managing the BIM/Virtual Design and Construction process on commercial or institutional projects.
