A key element of the post will be to ensure we offer a distinctive, high-quality student support service that provides students with a streamlined, customer-focused experience throughout their programme.
In order to achieve this goal, you will work closely with members of the Student Support Services team, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across all areas of the team and contributing to the ongoing development of our processes and procedures.
You will also take an active role in administrative functions within TBS, providing assistance as required in other areas, such as coordinating events or supporting research projects.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Student Support Services Manager and will be expected to contribute to the overall management of the team, including planning, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
This is a busy role, requiring the ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent relationships with colleagues, students, and external partners.
The nature of the post requires the post-holder to be on-campus five days each week during term time.
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in administration, preferably in a higher education setting. A strong understanding of data protection principles and experience of working with sensitive information is essential.
Please note that applicants should submit a Curriculum Vitae and a Cover Letter (1x A4 page) that specifically address the following points in their application:
1. Clearly explain your relevant experience and how you obtained your knowledge.
2. Provide past examples of your ability to work on your own initiative and resolve problems.
