Principal Business Analyst – SAP S4 SCM
The primary responsibility of the Senior Business Analyst – SAP S4 SCM (Supply Chain Management) is the analysis and resolution of complex, cross-module, functional SAP issues in Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities:
* Functions as the primary production support contact for Operations (Materials Management, Distribution, Quality Management, Production Planning) and regulatory business user communities (end-users, key-users, process owners).
* Act as primary SAP support team Subject Matter Expert for SAP S/4 Supply Chain Operations that includes material management, distribution, quality management, and production planning.
* Provide leadership across organizations related to SAP S/4HANA Production support and problem resolution.
* Serve as liaison between the support SAP team and other internal IT organizations and technical groups like BASIS and Technical/ Development Team to resolve complex issues.
Requirements:
* A recognized bachelor's degree qualification.
* 7+ years of experience in SAP S/4 Material Management, Distribution, Quality Management Production Planning along with experience in project delivery of all phases of software development lifecycle.
* Hands-on expertise (customization or configuration) in SAP S/4 HANA SCM.
* General understanding of Integration of SAP S/4 HANA SCM to other relevant modules.
Technical and Functional Experience Required:
* Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization. Maintain highest standards of customer service and business professionalism.
* Comprehensive understanding of SAP-based Operations processes used in the company's business model.
* Able to develop user stories and requirements in collaboration with global, multi-division business model, backend systems, technologies, and architecture.
Preferred Skills:
* Extensive configuration knowledge of SAP S/4 Operations and Source to Pay with integration of MM/FI/CO/SD/EWM.
* Professional working experience in SAP S/4 processes (i.e., Logistics Execution, Material Management, Production Execution & Planning, Quality Management, Trade Compliance).
* Extensive knowledge of following:
o SAP S/4 HANA interfaces and IDOC functionality, especially with respect to 3PL integration.
o SAP-MES interface (PI/CPI Exposure, IDOC process, IDOC Error Handling).
o Middleware queue processing, IDOC monitoring and data replication issues.
o Integration with SAP MM/SD/PP/QM solutions with 3rd party applications.
o SAP Inventory Management and Logistics Execution functionality.
o Exposure in the use of SAP Fiori apps for S/4 HANA.
o Good understanding of integration between S/4 HANA and SAP MDG & SAP APO.
o Materials Management Configuration/Customizing Knowledge in: Material master, Classification, Batch management and Serial number management.
o Cross-company purchasing.
o Subcontract orders.
o Intercompany stock transport orders.
o Inventory Management.
o Physical Inventory.
o Logistics Execution Configuration/Customizing Knowledge in: Delivery (Inbound and Outbound), Shipping, Route Determination, Output management, Batch Determination, Basic Warehouse Management.
o Quality Management Configuration/Customizing Knowledge in: Basic data (for example, material master, catalogs, inspection characteristics, inspection methods and sampling procedures). Inspection planning (inspection plans, reference operation sets, material specifications). QM in procurement. Quality Information System.
o Production Planning Configuration/Customizing Knowledge in: Basic data (for example, material master, BOM, work center, routing). MRP. Production execution (light manufacturing).
o Governance, Risk and Compliance/GTS Configuration/Customizing Knowledge in: Trade Compliance. Legal Control. Classification of Licenses. Classification of Commodity Codes.
