Job Title: Account Manager – Building Construction

About the Role:
Our client is currently experiencing a period of growth and success. They are seeking an Area Account Manager to join their team in the West of Ireland. As an Account Manager, your role will involve visiting customers in various settings, including construction sites, offices, and production plants, to identify how you can assist and provide innovative solutions. You will be responsible for both the operational and strategic management of your sales area, working independently to plan and organise your day-to-day tasks.
This position is centered on building and nurturing long-term relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and offering solutions that are both innovative and cost-effective. You will be part of a field-based regional team, always supported by colleagues who are just a phone call away.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement account strategies to build long-term, sustainable, and profitable relationships with customers.
* Conduct professional field sales and provide high-level customer consultation in your designated territory.
* Demonstrate industry-leading products and market software solutions to customers, alongside all services within the client’s portfolio.
* Build relationships with customers on-site, helping them find the best solutions for their projects.
* Work autonomously, planning and prioritising your time to ensure effective coverage of your territory.
* Provide technical support and solutions to customers, representing the client’s brand in the marketplace.
* Partner with existing customers to optimise their product usage and help them grow their business.
Who You Are:
The right person for this role is passionate, curious, dedicated, and a team player. Previous experience in construction or account management is required.

* Experience in a customer-facing or sales role, in a field based environment.
* Proven success in that role.
* A motivated and driven approach to achieving success and overcoming challenges.
* Resilience and adaptability to navigate various customer environments, including construction sites.
* Strong teamwork skills with a collaborative approach to finding creative solutions.
* Ambition and the desire to learn, develop, and grow in the role.
* A full, clean, manual driving license.
* Full working rights in Ireland.
