Mortgage Manager | Permanent | Dublin | Hybrid (Flexible)
Our client is a growing financial services company and is seeking a Senior Mortgage Manager with a minimum of five years of team management experience to grow their team.
Responsibilities:
1. Previous experience in a fast-paced Financial Services brokerage.
2. Strong technical knowledge of Mortgages.
3. Responsible for the effective management of mortgage applications from loan offer through to funds issue.
4. Develop MI tracking & reporting on the mortgage pipeline.
5. Accurately review relevant documentation and update IT systems to reflect outstanding documents required for closing.
6. Ensure all documents received are compliant and in line with policy and procedures.
7. Communicate effectively with solicitors, brokers, customers, and third parties in relation to mortgage applications.
8. Assist third parties with phone or email queries from internal and external customers (solicitors, brokers, customers & staff).
9. Prepare accurate daily closing lists and issue progress reports.
10. Liaise and follow up with Credit, Legal, Valuers, Solicitors, or any stakeholders for queries on cases that need to be actioned to ensure a smooth closing process.
11. Ability to recognize issues and challenges and put forward suggestions or solutions.
Requirements:
1. QFA qualified.
2. Knowledge of WealthTrack would be a distinct advantage.
3. Problem-solving mindset with the capability to embrace this position quickly.
4. Fully proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
5. Knowledge of the mortgage process, mortgage operations, and a good grasp of the mortgage closing process.
6. Up to five years' experience within a mortgage operations or legal environment.
7. Relevant third-level qualification or professional equivalent.
8. Knowledge of the mortgage process and retail banking products.
9. Data/MI skills with the ability to create and design reports.
10. Knowledge of CPC requirements and appreciation of all aspects of data protection.
11. Strong attention to detail with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
12. Strong communication skills with an ability to engage with all levels in a confident and professional manner.
