A Day in the Life of our Analytical Scientist
Provide analytical support as part of the development of novel and generic inhalation products
Lead in the development and validation of analytical methods for HPLC/UPLC, GC, KF, UV, FT-IR
Participates in technical investigations and develop approaches to problem solving challenges which arise in early development
Supports characterisation of materials for packaging, including inhalation and injectable drug products, for both small molecules and biopharmaceuticals.
Write/reviewing technical documents for regulatory submissions and associated correspondence with regulatory agencies.
Assists in the interpretation of Mass Spectrometry data (Some positions)
Working within cross-functional teams to remediate technical issues in our R&D and Commercial business units.
Excellent communicator (both oral and written).
Delivering high levels of customer service (both internal & external)
Assisting in preparation for internal & external audits
Who we are looking for....
Are you….
Educated to BSc degree/Masters level in a Science Discipline (with a strong focus on Organic Chemistry) and with proven industry experience preferably in an R&D Environment?
Do you have…
Experience with analytical method development and validation of methods for small molecule analysis is essential.
Experience working to current Good Manufacturing Practice and/or Good Laboratory Practice and implementing policies and procedures in line with regulatory guidelines.
Excellent project management skills and the ability to effectively function in a fast-paced, dynamic and technical environment.
Chromatography experience (Mass Spectrometry would be a distinct advantage for some positions)
Experienced in using analytical instrumentation & software for LC and/or GC.
Knowledge of global regulatory and compliance requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication; collaboration and team building skills.
Good planning and organising skills & adaptable to changing priorities.
