We are currently partnering with a global asset management firm that is seeking a skilled professional to join its Risk Management team. This role plays a crucial part in overseeing and maintaining the company's risk management framework to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk mitigation.
This is a hybrid position, requiring three days per week in the office.
Key Duties:
* Promote a strong risk culture within the company.
* Support the risk management framework, including policies and risk monitoring plans.
* Collaborate with different business units to mitigate and monitor risks.
* Assist with regulatory-driven projects and changes in the investment business.
* Maintain risk-related procedures and support risk assessments.
* Provide detailed management information to senior leadership, including the Board and Risk Committee.
* Help with annual risk assessments and regulatory reporting.
Key Requirements:
* University degree or equivalent.
* Experience in a risk, audit, or compliance role in Funds, Asset Management, Life Insurance or a regulatory advisory firm.
* Understanding of the regulatory environment, especially related to the CBI.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
