About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our client's team in Galway. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our staff, ensuring smooth operations and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
* Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
* Assist with user account management in Active Directory and Office 365.
* Stay up-to-date with technology trends and best practices.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Office applications.
* Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
