Site Manager
Location: Wexford
Site manager required for leading tier 1 main contractor for long-term work in Wexford.
Duties:
* Oversee and manage site labour and subcontractors, focusing on the completion of finishing works such as plastering, painting, carpentry, and flooring.
* Plan and schedule finishing tasks, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to meet deadlines.
* Maintain detailed site records, including daily diaries and weekly reports, ensuring all documentation is up to date.
* Coordinate and manage snagging works, ensuring all snag lists are addressed promptly and to the highest standard.
* Management of subcontractors, trades and direct staff.
* Ensuring coordination of façade elements across various subcontract packages and oversight of the detailed interface.
* Planning and programming the overall façade construction programme.
* Managing the technical submittals, tracking sign off and BCAR approvals process for the façade scope.
* Managing sample procurement, sign off and testing regimes.
* Ensure compliance with the Employment Requirements and project performance specifications and drawings.
* Ensuring all SOPs are met from Design to procurement to installations.
Requirements:
* Extensive experience in managing construction projects from start to handover.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience at this level, working on similar projects.
* Trade Qualification or Construction related qualification.
* Strong and effective sub-contractor management skills.
* Must be based in Ireland and eligible to work without Visa sponsorship.
