Role Overview:
As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for technical issues within the organisation, ensuring the systems and devices are running smoothly. Your problem-solving skills and customer-first approach will play a pivotal role in maintaining productivity and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both in-person and remotely.
* Assist in maintaining IT documentation, inventory, and user guides.
* Support on boarding processes by setting up new equipment and accounts.
* Escalate complex issues to senior team members or external providers.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in IT support or similar roles.
* Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Office 365, and basic networking concepts.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
* Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) are a plus.
