Corrib Oil is expanding, and as part of our growth, we are recruiting for an Area Sales Representative to join our Lubricants division. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and be part of a dynamic, growing and supportive team!

Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain profitable long-term relationships with all new and current clients, providing them with excellent account management combined with the best customer service.
* Meet agreed targets on sales and credit and continuously monitor progress, by generating new business in your area of operation wherever possible.
* Close sales opportunities by building rapport with potential accounts; explaining product and service capabilities; overcoming objections.
* Provide the Lubricants Manager with competitor feedback and industry insight contributing information to market strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from accounts.
* Recommend new products and services by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled.
* Manage prices for area on a day-to-day basis to ensure that we are continuously competitive.
* Work with the local Corrib Oil Commercial Managers to enhance and drive the sales in each area.
* Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Work closely with people at Head Office (Sales/Admin, Senior Credit Controller, Finance, H.R) who will assist in providing advice and guidance in their area of expertise.
* Participate in promotional shows (example Agricultural Shows) that Corrib Oil Company participates in during the course of the calendar year.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
* Strong and effective selling skills with minimum 2/3 years of field sales experience (Knowledge of the oil distribution industry an advantage)
* Self-starter – with the ability to set and achieve targets to match Company growth strategies.
* Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
* Ability to network and have a list of key contacts.
* Be able to plan and organise time effectively and efficiently.
* Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines.
* High self-motivation and ability to work under minimal supervision.
* Ability to function within a team environment.
* Very strong focus on results.
* Strong IT Skills with demonstrated knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
