DescriptionThe Management Accountant role plays a vital role in driving financial performance and operational cost efficiency across the business.
The main objective of the role is to drive cost efficiencies, prepare high quality management accounts, insightful financial analysis.

You will have exposure to all aspects of the daa business working closely across all daa Businesses Units areas, gain an excellent understanding of how these various business units operate and act as a key support to Cost Efficiency ControllerResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed monthly management accounts, analysis and reports with strong attention to detail and accuracy and in adherence to the group reporting timelines.Report the financial performance of the various Business Units against budget and prepare detailed analytical reviews on the cost trends. Prepare regular KPI reports and balanced scorecards for management, highlighting trends, deviations and areas for improvementResponsible for balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepaymentsPreparation of financial projections for operational business cases and capital expenditure proposals. Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement Develop strong working relationships with relevant Business Leads and key internal stakeholder groups Actively partner with the Business Leads, ensuring the provision of accurate and concise financial information to facilitate the business with strategic decision making.Collaborate with our finance teams on building out our sustainability reporting requirementsContribute to the statutory annual financial audit QualificationsExperienceQualified Accountant with 3+ industry experience.Demonstrated ability in preparing high quality, timely and consistent financial reports for internal and external use.Ambitious individual with strong communication, organisational and analytical skillsExperience with working with ERP system as advantageAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively SkillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skills Strong attention to detail and ability to plan, think strategically and work independently Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiating and leadership skills required and proven effectiveness at working directly with senior leadership Proficiency in MS Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)Education & QualificationsACA/ACCA/CIMA qualificationMandatory Practicing/Training/Compliance CertificationACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification Professional MembershipsACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification daa is an equal opportunities employer committed to celebrating diversity & inclusion and recognising the value that difference can bring, both for our business and for our people.
