Overall Purpose of the Job
To provide an efficient and effective cleaning service, adhering to contractual obligations, company policy, and standards.
Main Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage day-to-day operations on site.
* Oversee Cleaning operatives and ensure smooth site running, in line with Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification.
* Liaise closely and professionally with clients/representatives on operational matters.
Duties and Tasks
* Investigate quality and standard of cleaning services provided at client sites and assist the Cleaning Manager.
* Assist in supervising cleaning service staff, including workload allocation, progress monitoring, performance evaluation, and prioritization of tasks.
* Conduct site cleaning audits and monitor correct use of cleaning materials.
* Control and arrange maintenance of cleaning equipment and recommend renewals to the Cleaning Manager.
* Perform stock checks on equipment and materials as required.
* Organize induction and on-the-job training for cleaning staff according to relevant Apleona practices.
* Undertake recruitment of cleaning employees in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager, following relevant Apleona practices.
* Arrange relief/holiday cover for cleaning staff as needed, in collaboration with the Cleaning Manager.
* Authorize, allocate, and record cleaning staff absences in conjunction with the Cleaning Manager.
* Perform ad-hoc duties and other assigned tasks by the Cleaning Manager.
Person Specification
* Excellent communication skills for professional discussions and liaison with all contract parties.
* Strong organizational and management abilities.
* Able to motivate and lead effectively, with good problem-solving skills.
* Flexibility is required for this role.
Qualifications and Experience
* Good work record and excellent computer literacy for administrative purposes.
* Experience in using cleaning equipment.
