Assists in the development and implementation/production processing methods and controls to meet quality standards in the most efficient manner for new and existing assembly/moulding processes. Monitors the assembly/moulding process; troubleshooting problem processes and assists in resolving quality issues.
Key Responsibilities and End Result
1. Process Introduction of New Tools, tool trials at tool makers and in-house, tool setup, qualification runs and handover to production.
2. Assist with the design and debugging of new systems, tooling and automation.
3. Completion of IQ, OQ, PQ validation reports.
4. Perform designed experiments to enhance processes as well as improve yields and utilization through reduced cycle and efficient set-ups.
5. Front line liaison with customers, suppliers and toolmakers as appropriate.
6. Responsible for the Moulding Process Systems, including setting sheets, process control, deviation and control of setting sheets, ECNs and A3s.
7. Troubleshooting and supporting operations team as required.
8. Liaising with Toolroom, Maintenance, Operations and Quality on a daily basis.
9. Develop/implement maintenance programs for moulding and ancillary equipment.
10. Supports all company quality programs and initiatives.
11. Timeliness in addressing Quality System Requirements.
12. Principles of data integrity must be strictly adhered to.
13. All activities to be performed in strict accordance with the Quality Management System.
14. Training of all Team Leaders and to ensure that they are capable of managing all of the day to day issues.
15. Constantly seeks to improve work processes; Has a quality-first mentality; Learns from internal and external best practices to apply to her/his work.
16. Supports all company Lean Manufacturing principles.
17. Must take personal accountability for your own safety. Support culture of safety management through compliance with all safety policies, safety observation reporting and proactive involvement in Jabil AIM and Safety First programmes.

Job Specifications
1. Degree or equivalent qualification in Polymer or Mechanical engineering.
2. 3-5 years’ experience in a high volume moulding environment.
3. Experience in cleanroom procedures and medical moulding.
4. Familiar with process set up and validation, including performing process window studies, IQ, OQ, PQ highly desirable.
5. Ability to work in a team environment.
6. Excellent organizational, communication and presentation skills.
7. Systematic troubleshooting skills.
8. Strong leadership of technical issue resolution.
9. Lean Six Sigma skills an advantage.
10. Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project.
