Financial Automation & Reporting Specialist
Cork, Ireland: We are partnering with a renowned global brand to find an ambitious finance professional passionate about transformation.
* Develop country-specific Business Requirement documents outlining project scope, requirements, and addressing automation queries.
* Test automated financial reports against underlying records using technology to optimize processes and build exception reports.
* Work closely with functional and system teams to assess the impact of automation and process changes effectively communicating insights to accounting and tax teams.
* Drive standardization and continuous improvement of financial reporting and tax compliance processes ensuring adherence to US and local GAAP standards.
* Anticipate potential challenges manage escalations and balance business needs with technical feasibility.
* Maintain detailed project documentation and communicate progress effectively to stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance Information Systems or a related field.
* Extensive experience in accounting preferably from a Big Four firm or within a multinational organization.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
* Proven ability to manage projects adhere to deadlines and ensure successful project milestones.
* Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently prioritize tasks and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
