We are delighted to be recruiting an Operations Administrator on behalf of our client Sport Ireland on a temporary 3 month contract basis Operations Administrator Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Operations Administrator provides an important support role within the organisation.
This role requires an enthusiastic and friendly administrator, with the confidence to deal with arising issues, willingness to learn and an eye for detail, providing an impeccable standard of support in a busy but highly rewarding environment.
Main tasks and responsibilities Reception duties such as checking in athletes and visitors on the appointment system and distributing and storing deliveries.
Daily operational tasks such as routine stock checks and replenishment, supplies orders, kitchen upkeep, catering orders, general enquiries, meetings support, etc.
Updating booking logs.
Proactively ensuring that the standards of tidiness and cleanliness in the Institute HPC are maintained.
Adding athlete and sport service staff details to information management systems.
Answering phone and email queries and, when appropriate, directing the query to the correct staff member.
Prepare various reports, spreadsheets and correspondence as required within the organisation.
Evening/weekend reception and administration cover for events and bookings, as required.
Cover/support for other Operations Team members, as required.
Other tasks and projects when required.
Skills and Experience Required: - Administration and reception experience and a track record of delivering objectives to a high standard Highly trustworthy and responsible - will be required to open up and close up the building securely Excellent face to face and telephone manner Ability to work proactively in a team environment and individually Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent organisational skills Friendly and enthusiastic, with impeccable attention to detail Motivated to learn, develop and improve their work Flexibility required as dates may be added or cancelled Ensure confidentiality, privacy and data protection at all times in accordance with EU standards Additional Information: Contract: Temporary, 3 months.
Salary Scale: Executive Officer, appointment will be made on this scale at a point in line with current Government Pay Policy.
New entrants to the public sector commence on the first point of scale.
