This award-winning Practice has contributed to some of the most talked about projects in Ireland in the recent past, and due to a significant pipeline of work ahead of them, they are keen to speak to talented Design Management Professionals as they look to expand their service offering.
The Role:
Due to a significant pipeline of work, our client is looking for an experienced Building Inspector to join their Site Team. As part of their Building Inspection Team, you will oversee the delivery of projects and monitor the progress of Construction works on-site, ensuring that all work aligns with BCAR regulations.
You will conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and identify potential delays or problems, coordinate with stakeholders to resolve concerns, document site activities, including photographs, and prepare detailed progress reports.
Required Background:
* Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management needed
* 5+ years’ experience in the industry
* Expertise in BCAR and Irish building regulations is required
* Prior experience in monitoring the delivery of projects required
* Must be able to convey accurate information to different stakeholders effectively
* Must have excellent communication skills
* Own transport is required as this is a multisite position
