Account Manager for Technical Services/ Engineering Company (M&E)
We are presently looking to recruit an Account Manager for an expanding engineering business in Dublin. As the Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing the scope and delivery of all technical services to the assigned client contracts. This is very much a Client Facing / Management role.
Key responsibilities for this role will include the following:
* Operate in a team of operations and service line managers for assigned key client accounts ensuring service standards meet contractual KPI’s.
* Promote a strong customer service culture within the team, with an emphasis on service delivery and accountability, constantly striving for higher standards and performance improvement.
* Full project management responsibility from procurement to project delivery for projects.
* Work with the company project department to secure and develop larger assignments.
* Develop strong partnering relationships with senior client teams to understand client business, build trust, and develop innovative solutions.
* Financial accountability for the performance of all service lines within the contract and for identifying and securing business development opportunities.
* Scheduling of all works PPM’s and reactive works to ensure efficient running of the client portfolio.
* Develop annual business objectives, plans, and budgets for all contracts.
* Prepare and present monthly and quarterly KPIs for client review.
* Ensure there are clearly defined procedures (SOP’s) for all service lines.
* Ensure Quality, Environmental & Health and Safety compliance of all projects under your control.
Desired Skills and Experience:
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
* Proven track record in the delivery of Technical Services/ Maintenance contracts and Project Management Services.
* Relevant academic qualification and proven relevant technical knowledge (M&E Services).
* Commercially astute with engineering/industry specialist knowledge.
* P&L experience, budget management including project delivery and cost control.
* Excellent Client relationship management skills to build trust, credibility, and become the provider of choice.
* Project management experience in FM/M&E environment.
* Customer focused with an understanding of SLA’s and delivering contract KPI's.
* Team leadership qualities with experience of managing and developing teams in multiple locations.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload for self and others.
* Motivated with a desire to seek new challenges, improve skills, and pursue career development.
* Contract negotiation and supplier management experience.
* A good communicator with excellent presentation and influencing skills.
* A design background would be of interest.
* Ability to perform under pressure and work to required deadlines.
