Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support the delivery of a major garage automation system.
Working alongside a dedicated Test Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing testing activities across defined project phases.
The role will involve close collaboration with business units, technical teams, and third-party suppliers to ensure quality assurance processes are rigorously applied and maintained.
Key Responsibilities: Analyse project documentation to create and execute comprehensive test scripts with input from business teams and project stakeholders.
Contribute to the estimation of testing effort required for upcoming test cycles.
Proactively escalate risks or issues that may impact quality or delivery timelines to the Project Manager and Senior Test Lead.
Liaise with third-party vendors for effective defect tracking and resolution when necessary.
Track, control, and report on test progress, outcomes, and overall quality to stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with the Test Manager, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and QA teams to improve test processes and identify any delivery constraints.
Participate in daily stand-ups or team meetings to clarify testing requirements and progress.
Log and manage defects and queries, ensuring sufficient detail is provided to support timely resolution.
Evaluate and update test plans and schedules in response to project change requests.
Essential Requirements: Proficiency in JIRA with Zephyr test case management add-on for tracking epics, stories, test cases, evidence, and defect management.
Ability to generate and interpret test progress reports using JIRA & Zephyr reporting tools.
3+ years of hands-on experience as a Test Analyst, working closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and PMs.
Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, and both functional and non-functional testing practices.
