Description Overview
As Project Manager you will be responsible for managing new product development and change initiatives in VMS and Woman’s Health. Category responsibilities may change based on company prioritization.
This position reports into the Associate Director, Project & Portfolio Management.
The Project Manager’s role is delivering timely execution of new product developments and change initiatives, using the requisite local or global Company methodology and tools, holding responsibility for the launch coordination with the cross-functional Central Branded Business teams and the individual markets in Europe. The PM is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/ controlling and closing each assigned project. The role interfaces with the cross-functional Branded business teams, individual market teams, the Senior Leadership team and manufacturing partners.
We are excited to be recruiting for a Project Manager that will be involved in multiple categories. Preferred locations are Perrigo offices in Belgium, Ireland, and UK with in-office time consistent with company policy (currently 3 days per week).
Scope of the Role
Your Responsibilities:
1. Performs project planning, tracking, scope management, ensuring quality compliance, execution and reporting.
2. Leads and motivates teams working with defined project schedules to drive results in the development and delivery of new initiatives.
3. Leads project meetings, ensuring efficient use of meeting time and effective decisions on direction of specific projects or resolution of issues.
4. Proactively monitors progress and issues progress reports; resolves or escalates issues and initiates appropriate corrective action to ensure critical milestones are met.
5. Coordinates clear communications to all key stakeholders, reporting and oversight of interdependencies and risks, to ensure the realization of the projected benefits.
6. Ensures project documentation is organized and accessible.
7. Attends and presents projects to the Senior Leadership team at applicable Gate meetings.
Experience Required
Your Qualifications:
8. Bachelor Degree or equivalent (through experience) in a scientific or technical discipline combined with several years of progressive responsible experience in the pharma/ selfcare industry and minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
9. Knowledge of project management principles. Ability to lead a project management team responsible for managing multiple projects of different nature at various stages of activity.
10. Demonstrated analytical, planning, problem solving and organizational skills.
11. Skilled to process inputs from technical and commercial functions, draft presentations containing relevant project information and present with confidence to the Senior Leadership team.
12. Attention to detail and ability to consolidate complex information in a simple way.
13. Proficiency in English and excellent computer skills
14. Well-developed communication skills, oral and written, are essential, as well as good collaborative team skills to work effectively with geographically dispersed cross-functional teams.
15. Familiarity with the product development life-cycle and regulatory requirements in the selfcare industry is necessary.
