Medical Devices Scientist - Ireland
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced scientist to join our team in Ireland.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent experience in a scientific/technical field, with a strong background in ELISA's, Western Blotting, and Laboratory Diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Independently manage product and process improvements, monitoring processes and addressing trends to implement solutions.
* Risk Management: Maintain and evaluate risk management files, leading investigations and resolving issues to support audits.
* Technical Support: Design experiments, analyse data, and recommend actions to drive product development and improvement.
* Knowledge Sharing: Present findings and mentor team members to ensure knowledge transfer and best practices.
* Results Focus: Ensure product availability and drive cost-effective improvements through innovative thinking and established practices.
Requirements
* A relevant third-level qualification in a scientific/technical field or equivalent experience.
* A minimum of 2 years related experience or an advanced degree (PhD) is preferred.
* Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.
* Specialised knowledge of product/process design, standardisation, and control methods.
* Skills in experimental, statistical, and project management tools.
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
