Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and optimising product development, manufacturing, and distribution at our Limerick plant.
This is an evening shift position based on Monday to Thursday. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating basic manufacturing product quality and compliance issues, analysing results, making recommendations, and developing reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investigate and resolve CAPA, non-conformances, and audit observations related to production processes prior to final product release.
* Optimise manufacturing processes using engineering methods such as SIX Sigma and LEAN techniques.
* Identify opportunities for re-design/design of equipment, tools, and fixtures to improve manufacturing processes and reduce risk.
* Develop, update, and maintain technical content of risk management files.
* Create training and documentation materials for production teams.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a scientific field.
* Good computer skills in MS Office Suite and CAD experience preferred.
* Basic documentation, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills.
* Previous experience working with lab/industrial equipment preferred.

* Strong understanding of statistical techniques and analytical skills.
* Ability to interact professionally with all organisational levels.
* Good problem-solving, organisational, and critical thinking skills.
* Familiarity with quality systems and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
