Mulligans Pharmacy is a family-run business, established in 1957, that operates in the retail pharmacy sector, occupying 19 sites across the south east and east of Ireland. We currently employ over 250 staff in Waterford, Kilkenny, and Clonmel.
We are recruiting a store manager for our Ferrybank Store, Waterford for five days a week. This is a permanent position that is best suited to candidates looking to develop their retail and people management skills. We are seeking applications from candidates with a minimum of one year of retail management experience. This is an exciting and positively challenging role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Full training will be provided in all areas of the role.
Hours: 5 days Monday-Saturday
Working hours: between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.
This role is suited to someone who has retail, pharmacy, or hospitality experience in a supervisory or management role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Promoting a sales culture and ensuring that team members work towards achieving and exceeding store targets
2. Ensuring store standards are of the highest quality
3. Working towards achieving KPIs
4. Collaborating closely with your area manager and following through on agreed-upon objectives
5. Driving customer care through ongoing product training
6. Motivating, developing, and training your team
7. Formally appraising your team members regularly and encouraging staff development
8. Ensuring all company guidelines, procedures, and policies are implemented and adhered to
9. Being aware of and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Welfare legislation
