Head of Fundraising
We are seeking a motivated self-starter to lead our new fundraising strategy with a focus on securing major gifts. This newly created role will support DHF's Case Campaign, aligned with Ireland's Oral Health Policy (Smile agus Sláinte) and the WHO's Global Oral Health Strategy.
About the Position
The Head of Fundraising will play a key role in shaping and growing the fundraising programme at the Dental Health Foundation (DHF), a leading independent charity dedicated to improving oral health and well-being. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in fundraising, major gifts, or philanthropy, with a minimum of 8 years' experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Secure significant major gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
* Identify, research, and build relationships with donors, especially within the oral health sector.
* Develop a portfolio of key donor prospects and create tailored engagement strategies.
* Research and apply for relevant grants.
* Develop a corporate giving strategy to secure multi-annual partnerships.
* Work with the DHF team to develop and implement new fundraising initiatives.

* Third-level qualification (master's preferred).
Terms:
* Fixed-term contract for up to 23 months, with possible extension depending on funding.
* Salary: €73,000 to €78,000 per annum, depending on experience.
* 25 days annual leave (you will be required to keep 3 days annual leave for the Christmas period).
