The Role
We are looking for a Senior Director of EMEA and LATAM Field Marketing who brings a clear vision and a deep understanding of B2B Marketing in the digital and technology sectors, including expertise in data storage and management, cloud services, and emerging technologies.
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader whose primary focus will be to align marketing initiatives and execution with the business priorities of EMEA and LATAM. This seasoned professional will blend a strategic marketing mindset with a proven track record of operational excellence. With a hands-on approach, the ideal candidate will develop and execute Area-specific action plans that drive measurable impact, enhancing opportunity volume and strengthening the pipeline. Leading a team of Field Marketers, the Senior Director will ensure that every marketing effort is not only tightly integrated but also directly supports the specific needs and priorities of the regions, fostering growth and bolstering our regional business objectives.
As an integral part of the leadership team, this individual will collaborate with key stakeholders across sales and marketing to develop, refine, and execute a GTM strategy and omnichannel marketing plan that are both globally aligned and locally resonant.
Reporting to the VP of WW Field Marketing, this role requires a leader who will make a direct impact on the company’s success. The successful candidate will possess a blend of strategic foresight and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every initiative is executed with focus and precision to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own the marketing relationship with sales for the region, acting as a strategic and trusted partner. Align marketing strategy and plans with business goals, objectives, and sales plays to drive growth.
2. Serve as a trusted marketing advisor to leadership, directing a mix of marketing tactics measured against KPIs to support growth.
3. Lead and own a plan with your team of Area Marketing Managers and Account Based Marketing Managers, focused on in-market execution to support opportunities and strategic success.
4. Work cross-functionally across all marketing departments to implement an aligned and integrated regional marketing plan that enables the region to excel in the marketplace.
5. Interpret account insights and campaign data to understand and optimize marketing impact, using this data to inform future strategies.
6. Oversee the regional marketing budget, resources, and external agencies, ensuring strategic allocation aligned with company priorities.
7. Lead, recruit, motivate, and mentor a team of strategic, data-driven marketers capable of elevating NetApp's business through innovative strategies.

1. Experienced marketer with strategic vision and in-depth B2B marketing experience in technology, especially in data storage, cloud services, and emerging tech.
2. Proven track record in creating and executing strategic marketing plans that align with business priorities and deliver measurable growth.
3. Strong strategic thinker and problem solver, leveraging data and creativity to develop impactful plans.
4. Effective at engaging and influencing stakeholders within a large, matrixed organization.
5. Experienced in leading high-impact marketing initiatives aligned with global and regional strategies.
6. Proven leadership in managing marketing teams, providing strategic direction and ensuring precise execution.
7. Innovative mindset, fostering a culture of creativity and new ideas.
8. Leadership skills to navigate challenges and guide the team through organizational transformation.
9. Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations to diverse audiences.
Additional Details
* The candidate must be located near a NetApp office and work in-office at least 2 days a week.
