Organisational Structure & Workforce Planning ConsultantWe are seeking a forward thinking strategic global Organisational Structure & Workforce Planning Consultant to help shape the workforce of tomorrow.
Building on recent culture transformation, this role will create the organisation structure and talent readiness for the future.
This is an initial 12-month consultancy role, working 2 - 3 days per week.
Based in Cork, the successful appointee must be available to travel to site on a regular basis - at least twice a month.
This assignment will commence in June 2025.
This role will focus on identifying future capability and competency requirements across key functions - including Commercial, Operations, R&D, Quality, and Digital.
Whether it's developing leadership capability, strengthening commercial acumen, evolving operational excellence, or embedding digital skills, this role will help ensure the organisation is equipped for sustainable success.
The Position Organisational Design: Build on recent assessments to define and implement future-fit design principles that support agility, clarity, and scalability.
You will also be responsible for designing the assessment process used to evaluate current and future-fit structures, roles, and spans of control.Strategic Workforce Planning: Identify future capability and competency needs across core functions - including Commercial, Operations, Quality, and Technology - and build clear workforce plans to meet them.Capability Building: Define and prioritise the skills that matter most - from leadership and commercial acumen to digital fluency and operational excellence - and work with People and Business Leaders to embed them.The Person Significant experience in global organisational design, workforce planning, or strategic HR consulting within complex, multi-functional businesses.Strong understanding of skills and competency frameworks, functional capability models, and workforce analytics.Experience working across diverse functions, including Commercial, Operations, Quality, and Technology.Strong data interpretation skills - able to turn insights into action.Awareness of how emerging trends (including AI and automation) are shifting talent and capability requirements.Excellent facilitation and influencing skills, with the ability to guide senior leaders through change and complexity.Comfortable operating in dynamic, evolving environments with multiple stakeholders.To discover more, contact Ashling Edwards in HRM Search Partners or click to apply. *Please note, candidates must be readily accessible to Cork.
