Job Summary
We are seeking a part-qualified Accountant to join our clients' established practice in Tralee, County Kerry. This role involves working with a diverse client base, preparing financial statements, tax returns, and yearly statements.
Responsibilities
* Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and tax returns for clients across various industries.
* Conduct audits, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
* Manage bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
* Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
* Collaborate with senior accountants and partners to deliver comprehensive client services.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and industry regulations.
* Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
* Provide excellent client service, addressing queries and offering financial advice.
* Participate in continuous professional development to progress towards full qualification.
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Requirements
* In-progress qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) in accounting or auditing.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
* Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
Benefits
This role offers a salary range of €30,000-€40,000 based on experience, along with Full Membership and Study Package, as well as Regular Social Activities.
