PM Group now has an opportunity for a Utilities Engineer SME, the role is based with one of our pharmaceutical manufacturing clients, located in Dublin.
This is a hybrid role.
ResponsibilitiesThe Utilities Engineer SME will look after existing utility mechanical systems, water systems, clean utility systems, gases, chemical & controlled temp systems.Manage new projects with Project Management team.SME will be fully responsible and have final say/sign off on design, installations through commissioning.Drive to completion ongoing projects, optimisation, design, qualification, quality / QC, operation readiness and audits for new systems.Spec new projects in relation to what requirements might be needed.
Provide back up for HVAC and operations with escalation issues / decisions.Manage issues such as system drift (WFI, EOC etc), escalations / investigations.Direct reliability engineers / clean utility engineer teams / other support teams as needed.Guide maintenance teams (ie escalations / performance etc).Reporting to Senior Project Manager.Qualifications6 years' plus minimum experience in large scale utilities area.Experience in utility systems in a regulated manufacturing environment.Relevant experience as an SME or similar.University, or equivalent, qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or similar scientific field.Experience in reading functional design specifications, control drawings, electrical drawings, and P&ID's.Experience of Maintenance management and Reliability programs.Experience in Utilities start-up & commissioning.High level of computer literacy with experience in safety investigation systems, Utility system software systems.Experience in the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of regulatory requirements (Safety, Quality and cGMP).Why PM Group?As an employee-owned company, we are inclusive, committed and driven.
