As an Operational Excellence Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and leading the advancement of Operational Excellence principles and practices across the site through internal & external collaborations, delivering high-impact, sustainable business results.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Oversee and enhance the site’s Operational Excellence initiatives, such as the Manufacturing Operating System (MOS), 6S Program, and Shingo methodology.
* Cultivate and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the site.
* Serve as a change agent, driving lean initiatives in alignment with business goals.
* Manage departmental and site-specific KPIs and reporting, including maintaining site visual boards.
* Support site teams in strengthening Continuous Improvement and problem-solving skills through training and education.
* Lead site-wide problem-solving efforts, utilising various improvement tools and facilitating related training sessions.
* Increase awareness and engagement of Operational Excellence principles by implementing effective communication and engagement strategies.
* Teach and coach staff on Lean Six Sigma and change management tools/methodologies, such as Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, and DMAIC, to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Lead and oversee relevant Operational Excellence projects.
* Contribute to the management of the site’s project portfolio within the Operational Excellence team.
What we are looking for:
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in Manufacturing/Engineering/Science.
* 3 years’ relevant experience in an equivalent role, preferably in a manufacturing/engineering/science environment.
* Lean Six Sigma or other Process Improvement methodologies experience.
* Power BI/Power Automate/Power App experience.
