The Azure Apps & Infra team is hiring experienced Azure Technical Specialist to join agile and diverse team in Cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e., Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, VMware, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers, HPC, and Infra as a code technologies)
The main goal of a Microsoft Technology Specialist (TS) is to win the technical decision of customers to purchase and use Microsoft technology and cloud services. The TS is expected to both own and win customers’ technical decisions, as well as find new opportunities through their contacts and engagements for Sales Specialists to pursue. As a TS, you work within a virtual team of technical, partner and consulting resources to help educate your customers at a technical level, demonstrate, and prove our solutions, and win the technical decision. Being part of this team will allow you to maintain and develop your deep technical expertise across Microsoft and non-Microsoft cloud-based technologies. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% .

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
1. Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND Strong technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND several years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.
2. Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
3. Experience with management of cloud infrastructure solutions (i.e., Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, VMware, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers, HPC, and Infra as a code technologies)Experience with scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API management, serverless technologies, container orchestration (i.e., Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry etc.), API management, microservice frameworks, SDKs etc.
4. Experience with Identity/Security (Azure): Identity, Security Architecture, Security Management and Network Security Experience and understanding of large-scale application portfolios in enterprise-wide environments (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud)
5. Language preferred is Portuguese
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
6. Strong technical pre-sales or technical consulting, or related experience.
7. Strong years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management. Web application server technologies, cloud application design, software architecture and practices; (design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM) Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs Certification in relevant (Microsoft or industry) technologies or disciplines (e.g., Azure Architect and Development exams, Cloud Platform Technologies, Information Security, Architecture).
8. Deployment and app refactoring/migrations Software development practices like DevOps and CI/CD tool chains (i.e. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Visual Studio). Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of cloud development platforms preferred.
9. Prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position within a software and/or services company such as Amazon, VMware, Google, IBM, Oracle

10. Own technical discussions for Azure Migration with customers leveraging processes and tools, demos, and programs; use consultative and/or Challenger method; establish rules of engagement (e.g., role boundaries, handoff strategies) for extended teams.Be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with the Engineering team to remove key blockers and drive product improvements.Maintain and grow expertise in cloud migration, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the technical community.
11. Build strategy: map the agreed customer vision into a strategy, resolve concerns and validate a strong business case for investment. Work with the customer, account team, and partners to orchestrate a roadmap for implementation. Identify new opportunities within customer engagement and hand off to the Solution Specialist for pursuit.
12. Drive technical assessments to create a map of the current landscape and to build the technical migration plans, thus building a solid migration business case.
13. Design the solution using your technical knowledge, architectural approach, consultancy skills and our methodology to win a customer’s technical decision and meet the customer’s needs. Ensure technical decision makers agree with proposed architecture and on the migration plan. Drive POCs and MVPs.
14. Scale through partners, acting as liaison between the partner and account team, facilitating partner resources and processes; supporting partner technical capacity by identifying skill and resource gaps and providing feedback to internal teams.Support the creation of new pipeline in collaboration with the Specialist.Be the Trusted advisor and use proactive effort to find and understand customers’ pain points and design and offer solutions (with business case) to technical leaders.
15. Be an Azure platform evangelist for Migration scenarios like Hybrid Compute, Backup and DR, Desktop Virtualization, and Specialized Workloads such as AVS & SAP
16. Develop customer technical skilling plan in collaboration with customer and account team.
