A leading engineering consultancy based in Co. Kilkenny is seeking a skilled and proactive Civil Engineer - Project Manager with a passion for road, public realm, and transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
As part of the team, you will collaborate with directors and senior staff to:
* Lead project management tasks, including documentation, progress reporting, and coordination.
* Perform feasibility assessments and generate innovative scheme options.
* Prepare and review detailed designs, cost estimates, and specifications using advanced tools such as Civil 3D or MX Roads.
* Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
* Administer construction contracts, ensuring budgets and schedules are met.
* Oversee procurement processes, including tenders and sub-consultant engagement.
* Participate in Road Safety Audits and Inspections (training provided).
* Implement Quality Assurance procedures to maintain high standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering (Level 9 Master’s Degree is advantageous).
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in civil engineering/roads/public realm/transportation projects.
* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it) accredited by Engineers Ireland is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of TII Publications, DMURS, and other relevant design standards.
* Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and alignment design tools.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
