Objective of the Role Reporting to the General Manager, the Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for leading the operational & financial success of the Food & Beverage function during the maternity cover period, while also taking on some Duty Manager responsibilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Lead the F&B department and execute the strategy to achieve goals.
People leadership, including recruiting, retaining and developing employees.
Support the General Manager in the strategic running of the hotel.
Set targets for the F&B teams in line with the overall departmental and hotel strategy.
Support/Oversee events in the hotel to ensure excellence in service at all times.
Manage the budget and cost effectiveness of the department.
Oversee the operations of the hotel to ensure smooth daily functioning.
Ensure quality and standards are consistently met across all departments.
Anticipate guest needs and proactively manage their expectations to enhance their experience.
Assist with the management of the hotels daily operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues and concerns.

Requirements: Experience in a Food & Beverage management role in a leading hotel.
Experience in large conferences and events is a distinct advantage.
